We respect your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
To request the deletion of your account, please send an email to:
Please include the following in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Registered email address associated with your IIGCE App account
- Full name as it appears on your profile
2. Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your request, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone number, organization, job title)
- Event registration history and ticket records
- Personal schedule and bookmarked sessions
- Networking interactions and exhibitor visit history
- Profile photo (if uploaded)
- Push notification tokens and device associations
3. Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for legitimate purposes, including:
- Anonymized analytics data (e.g., aggregate attendance counts)
- Transaction records required by applicable financial regulations
- Data necessary to comply with legal obligations
Retained data cannot be used to identify you personally.
4. Processing Time
Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Please note that once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the App again in the future.
